Hexham Remembers

A project to engage, remember and commemorate the events of 1918

Hexham Abbey Remembers brings together memories, stories and artefacts from WWI in a project to engage, remember and commemorate the events of 1918. Opening on Saturday 3rd November, an exhibition in the North Transept will draw on the archives of Hexham and its twin towns, Noyon, France and Metzingen, Germany, to build a picture of life 100 years ago through the stories of some of the men and woman who lived through the events of WWI.
